As a Manager of Project Management at Capital One supporting the Payment Platforms team, you will drive strategy and execute on high priority projects for the company. You will work with smart and passionate people to deliver results that have a direct impact on the company's bottom line. About the team:
As a part of the Payment Platforms Product team, you will be responsible for increasing adoption, scaling, and standardizing payment experiences. This will involve collaborating with partners across the organization to reimagine payment experiences that create game-changing customer experiences and drive critical business outcomes. You will use cutting edge technology, real-time data, and ingenuity to redefine how millions of customers interact with their money.
General Responsibilities:
Leading moderate to large complex projects and programs by providing strategic direction to projects, peers, and direct reports
Designing, developing, and managing project plans in a complex dynamic environment, revising needs to meet changing requirements
Ensuring projects are documented appropriately to mitigate risk and to be delivered on time.
Leveraging problem solving and influencing skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent
Partnering cross-functionally with project customers to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive project delivery
Building relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure delivery of commitments
Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to effectively drive project / program efforts
Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent project management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment
Develop and manage the end-to-end process for onboarding new clients to enterprise payment platforms.
Have excellent communication and partnership skills which are essential for interacting and communicating with key stakeholders at all levels across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
At least 6 Years of Project Management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Masters / MBA degree
7+ years of Project Management experience
2+ years of People Management experience
PMP, Lean, Agile or Six Sigma certification

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
McLean, VA: $151,900 - $173,400 for Manager, Project Management
Richmond, VA: $138,100 - $157,700 for Manager, Project Management
Wilmington, DE: $138,100 - $157,700 for Manager, Project Management
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.
This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
